Indie Desk Is Now in Open Beta
Indie Desk has reached an important milestone. After months of development, testing, and refinement, the platform is now ready for Open Beta.
Indie Desk was built to give independent Christian artists, record labels, and artist managers a simpler place to organize the work happening behind the music.
Instead of keeping releases, artist development, industry contacts, radio promotion, placements, conversations, and opportunities scattered across different tools, Indie Desk brings them together into one professional workspace.
A Workspace for Independent Artists
Independent artists can now create their own Indie Desk account and begin building their professional presence.
Artists can manage their profile, organize Songs and Releases, add Spotify and YouTube links, access Artist Development resources, track Placements and Press, and participate in Artist Discovery.
Artist Discovery gives independent artists a way to share selected music with verified music professionals using a private professional profile.
Labels and artist managers can discover artists, save artists they are interested in, and send Representation Inquiries directly through Indie Desk.
Tools for Labels and Artist Managers
Indie Desk also gives record labels and artist management teams a central place to organize their roster.
Professional organizations can manage Artists, Songs and Releases, Placements and Press, private Artist Development resources, messages, and professional opportunities.
Labels and managers can also use Artist Discovery to find independent artists who may be a fit for future conversations or representation.
Radio Promotion, Organized
Radio remains an important part of Indie Desk.
Labels and managers can build their own Station workspace, browse the Indie Desk Radio Directory, record programming preferences, compare Songs with Stations through Station Matching, and organize Radio Campaigns.
Follow Ups, responses, campaign history, and confirmed placements can all be tracked from the same workspace.
The goal is simple: make radio promotion easier to organize and easier to understand.
Better Communication
Indie Desk now includes private messaging and notification tools across the platform.
Artists can receive placement notifications, professional inquiries, feedback, development opportunities, and account updates.
Labels and managers can communicate with their roster and keep important conversations connected to the work they are doing inside Indie Desk.
Email notifications have also been updated with full Indie Desk branding and user controlled notification preferences.

The new News & Updates section will be used for product announcements, Artist resources, beta updates, industry information, and new feature releases.
Visitors can also subscribe to Indie Desk News & Updates and choose whether they want to receive future announcements by email.
Coming Soon for Artists: EPK Maker
One of the next Artist tools planned for Indie Desk is an EPK Maker.
The goal is to let artists build a professional Electronic Press Kit using information they already have inside Indie Desk, including their Artist Profile, biography, music, photos, videos, links, releases, and achievements.
Artists will be able to create a professional public EPK without rebuilding the same information somewhere else.
More information about the EPK Maker will be shared as development progresses.
We Are Looking for Beta Testers
Open Beta is about more than simply opening the doors.
We want independent Christian artists, record labels, and artist managers to actually use Indie Desk and tell us what works, what feels confusing, and what would make the platform more useful.
Beta testers get early access to the current Indie Desk tools and an opportunity to help shape what comes next.
Independent artists can create a free Artist account and begin using Indie Desk now.

Indie Desk has grown from a much smaller radio focused concept into a broader workspace for the independent Christian music community.
The foundation is now in place, and the next stage is about listening to the people using it.
