About Our Station
KJOL is a listener-supported, noncommercial Christian radio ministry serving Western Colorado and Eastern Utah. Its locally focused service combines Christian music, Bible teaching, family programming, news, public affairs, prayer, and community resources across multiple AM and FM signals and online.
Our mission
KJOL exists to share the Gospel with those who do not know Jesus, provide music and teaching from the Word of God that uplifts and instructs believers, and deliver quality Christian radio programming that supports the Body of Christ and the local church across Western Colorado and Eastern Utah.
WHAT WE PLAY
Programming
KJOL blends Christian adult contemporary music with Bible teaching, family programs, local news and public affairs, prayer, praise and worship, and specialty weekend programming. The schedule includes weekday teaching and talk programs, locally hosted morning and drive-time segments, Saturday children’s programming, contemporary Christian music, Christian Music Rewind, and weekend praise and worship.

Dave Andrews
Station Manager · Afternoon Host
Dave began serving at KJOL in 2005 and was appointed Station Manager by the United Ministries board in 2018. He provides station leadership and serves as a local afternoon host.
Zane Mathews
Public Affairs Director · Morning Show & Mid-Day
Zane brings four decades of radio experience to KJOL. He serves as Public Affairs Director and hosts locally produced morning and mid-day programming for Western Colorado listeners.
Kurt Neuswanger
Music Director · Afternoon Drive; Contemporary Music for Saturday
Kurt has served KJOL since 1990 and has worked in radio since 1979. He directs the station’s music programming, hosts afternoon drive, and presents KJOL’s Saturday contemporary Christian music program.
Ken Andrews
Vice President, United Ministries · Evening Praise
Ken is KJOL’s former longtime Station Manager and now serves as Vice President of United Ministries. He remains active on air as the host of Evening Praise.
Tina Snover
Weekend Announcer · Saturday Morning Music; Weekend Mornings
Tina is a KJOL weekend announcer who brings years of Christian sports-ministry experience to the air. She hosts weekend mornings with music, encouragement, and a focus on sharing the light of Jesus.
Doug Shellabarger
Weekend Announcer · Saturday & Sunday Programming
Doug was one of KJOL’s original voices more than four decades ago. After beginning with turntables and reel-to-reel tapes at the station, he returned to serve as a Saturday and Sunday host.
